Ofsted are responsible for assessing and maintaining standards of education for all providers of childcare from childminders to secondary school provision. We were delighted to have received our 4th 'Outstanding' Ofsted report in 2017 and are constantly striving to improve even further.

What is it like to attend this early years setting? This is an excerpt from the full report
"Leaders and staff have developed an inspiring learning environment, both inside and outside. Children show high levels of engagement and curiosity as they make choices about their play. For example, children enjoy rolling colourful balls down pipes and experimenting with how many they can roll at the same time. Other children squeal with delight as they engage in a game of 'hide-and-seek' in the outdoor area."

To further improve the quality of the early years provision the provider should: find further ways to manage the excellent learning taking place during group times, to keep all children fully interested.
What changes have we made -
We have introduced a consistant approach to circle times that focus on the prime areas of EYFS.

This school continues to be outstanding.
The leadership team has maintained the outstanding quality of education in the school since the last inspection. This is the fourth occasion your school has been graded outstanding. This is an achievement that the whole school community should be proud of.
What the setting needs to do to improve further
Leaders and governors should ensure that: planned improvements to support children’s computing skills enable them to develop further their ability to select and use technology for particular purposes.
What changes have we made -
We created a 'Learning Hub' for children to access a wide variety of ICT, we have encorporated Letters and Sounds into our 'Music is Everywhere' theme.

To further improve the quality of the early years provision the provider should: strengthen the programme to support children's understanding of the wider world.
What changes have we made -
We started embedding our Rights Respecting Schools ethos, and we made sure to include multicultural celebrations throughout the school year linking these to Understanding the World. From April 2016 we began introducing Forest Schools.

Revise the curriculum in order to fully incorporate the requirements of the new Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage as outlined in the current improvement plannning.
What changes have we made -
We have revamped our curriculum in the Neighbourhood Nursery and have encorporated ITERS (Infant and Toddler Environmental Rating Scale) and ECERS (Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale) in both Nurserys.

What changes have we made - We began investigating opportunites to strengthen childrens appreciation of culture and other Nationalities, We started our RRSA accreditation (Rights Respecting Schools Award) Learning about becoming Global Citizens

As a nursery school, the Foundation Stage is completely covered by the Overall Effectiveness
section.
What the school should do to improve further
Improve the outside learning areas so that they become as exciting and stimulating as the inside of the nursery.
What changes have we made -
We have vastly expanded and improved on our Outside Learning Areas, now incorporating Mud Kitchens, a tree house, ponds, a sensory wall and a vegetable patch. We are continually striving to improve our facilities to stimulate young minds
